GOMINING Describes Itself As
GoMining describes itself as an all-in-one Bitcoin mining platform that makes BTC mining infrastructure accessible to retail users without requiring physical hardware. The platform operates real data centres across the United States (Washington, Texas, and South Carolina) with a total hashrate of approximately 14 million TH/s. The GOMINING token is the native utility token of the GoMining ecosystem, operating as an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain.
Project Function
The GoMining platform uses a digital miner model, allowing users to access exposure to Bitcoin mining infrastructure through the platform. GOMINING is the platform's native token, used for maintenance fee discounts (up to 20%), governance participation via the veGOMINING vote-escrow mechanism, digital miner upgrades, and ecosystem engagement.
Token Utility
The GOMINING token is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum with an initial supply of approximately 436.9 million tokens, subject to a deflationary burn-and-mint cycle targeting a long-term supply of 100 million tokens. It is used within the GoMining ecosystem for:
- Maintenance fee discounts: Reducing platform maintenance fees by up to 20% when paid in GOMINING.
- Governance: Locking GOMINING to receive veGOMINING, which grants voting rights on platform decisions including the weekly Burn & Mint mechanism.
- Digital miner upgrades: Used for upgrading digital miners within the GoMining platform.
- Ecosystem participation: Used in platform incentive and reward mechanisms.
About the Founders
GoMining was founded in 2017. The token is issued by GoMining (BVI) Limited, incorporated in the British Virgin Islands, with operating entities in Latvia (SIA GoMining Latvia) and Czechia (GoMining (Czech) s.r.o., registered as a virtual asset service provider). The CEO is Mark Zalan, who has led the project since founding. The advisory board includes Gleb Kostarev (formerly Binance, CEO & Co-founder of Blum IO), Igor Milihram (early Magic Eden team), Tal Cohen, and Victor of R136 Ventures.
