Wise Monkey Airdrop: Frequently Asked Questions

Here’s a quick guide to the Wise Monkey airdrop on Uphold!

1. What is MONKY?

MONKY is a meme token inspired by the “Three Wise Monkeys” proverb: See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. Backed by Ape Accelerator, a subsidiary of ApeCoin and Animoca Brands, MONKY plans to leverage its intellectual property for future blockchain-based projects, such as NFTs.

2. How much of the MONKY supply is being airdropped?

A total of 45% of the MONKY supply is allocated for the airdrop across three key ecosystems:

35% to the Floki ecosystem:

• 27% to FLOKI holders.
• 4% to Floki Trading Bot users.
• 4% to TOKEN holders.

10% to the ApeCoin ecosystem:

• 8% to APE holders.
• 1% to Ape Accelerator Supporters.
• 1% to ApeFest attendees.

Upholders only have to worry about holding FLOKI, TOKEN, and/or APE. 

3. When will the snapshots be taken?

Snapshots will be taken on the following dates:

• APE holders: Snapshot already taken on November 28, 2024, at 7:00 PM EST.
• FLOKI and TOKEN holders: Snapshot will be taken on Dec. 15, 2024, at 7:00 PM EST.

4. Who qualifies for the airdrop?

Upholders with at least 1 FLOKI, 1 TOKEN, and/or 1 APE will qualify for the airdrop. 

5. What are the distribution ratios?

• 1 FLOKI = 0.35 MONKY
• 1 TOKEN = 130 MONKY
• 1 APE = 804,828 MONKY (flat distribution per wallet holding at least 1 APE)

For FLOKI and TOKEN holders, your monkey airdrop will be based on your holdings.

• If you hold 1,000 FLOKI, you’ll receive 350 MONKY.
• If you hold 10 TOKEN, you’ll receive 1,300 MONKY.

For APE holders, as long as you hold 1 or more APE, you’ll receive a fixed amount of 804,828 MONKY. 

• If you hold 1 APE , you’ll receive 804,828 MONKY
• If you hold 1000 APE, you’ll receive 804,828 MONKY. 

6. Do I need to take any action?

No action is required outside of holding the FLOKI, TOKEN, and/or APE in your Uphold Wallet at the time of the snapshots. 

7. When will I receive my airdrop?

Uphold will process airdrops for all eligible users, and distribute in accordance to the applicable ratios. We aim to conclude the MONKY airdrop by the end of December, with a target date of December 23, 2024. 

8. Will I be able to trade my MONKY tokens immediately?

MONKY will not be tradable on Uphold until it satisfies our full listing criteria and liquidity requirements are met. Until these requirements are fulfilled, you will only be able to hold and view your MONKY tokens in your Uphold Wallet.
