Important Service Update for Uphold Members.

UPDATE: December 5, 2018, we have re-enabled full support of Bitcoin Cash (BCH). Uphold members now have full connectivity to BTG, including the ability to buy, trade, send, deposit and withdraw.

At Uphold, we believe it’s important to keep our members up-to-date on the latest events and advancements in the digital currency space. In an effort to keep our members informed, we want to provide an update on the impending Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Hard Fork and what this means for you on our platform.

Uphold fully supports the published roadmap from bitcoincash.org. On November 15, Uphold will temporarily disable all BCH deposits, withdrawals, and trading at 12:00 UTC. Uphold will continue to monitor BCH closely and will provide an update to our members regarding support and implementation Uphold cannot determine the duration of the process but will re-enable deposit, withdrawals, and trading as soon as we have identified that the chains involved are stable and the appropriate protections are in place.

Your funds will be held in a designated safeguarding account with a regulated financial institution. E-money will not earn any interest.
