Please note: like most trading venues, we display the current mid-market rates in our price charts. When you trade, you get the current bid or ask price depending on whether you are buying or selling. There is always a slight difference between the mid-market and the current bid or ask prices. This is a natural result of how Exchange order books work.

Digital currencies are very high risk. Do not invest money you can’t afford to lose. Please consider the suitability of crypto for your individual position before trading.

What is Galxe?

Galxe is a decentralized, digital data credential network. The project was launched in 2021, whilst its utility and network token, GAL, launched via public sale on CoinList on 17 February 2022.

What is a digital credential?

A credential is simply a record of a user’s actions on the web. These ‘credentials’ have traditionally been controlled by centralized institutions such as banks and governments - Galxe was built to make these databases open-source, so that the data can be accessed by ‘the individuals and web3 brands that need it most’.

Galxe - in their own words

Galxe describes itself as the ‘leading Web3 credential data network’. Their infrastructure enables ‘brands and developers to engage communities’ and ‘build robust products in Web3’.

GAL token utility?

GAL is the network’s utility and governance token. It is used to curate credentials, cover network fees and participate in governance.

Additionally, data curators benefit from contributing to the network by earning rewards once the data is utilized.
