Nakamoto Games Describes Itself As

Launched in December 2020, Nakamoto Games is a Web3 gaming ecosystem built on the Polygon network, offering over 200 play-to-earn games and rapidly expanding. With a player base of over 200,000, the platform combines hyper-casual games with more immersive projects like the upcoming AAA survival game, Escape. Developers can access tools to launch their own games, allowing them to monetize their creations while gamers earn cryptocurrency through skilled gameplay. Nakamoto Games aims to create a fair, engaging, and skill-based ecosystem, free from gambling or luck-based mechanics.

Project Function

Nakamoto Games serves as a comprehensive Web3 gaming platform, providing a wide range of play-to-earn games that emphasize strategy and skill. Players engage in hyper-casual games spanning genres such as action, sports, and NFT-based titles, all designed for quick learning and accessible gameplay. The platform also empowers developers by offering a software development kit (SDK) that enables them to integrate and monetize their games. Third-party games, alongside frequent in-house releases, keep the platform dynamic, while the marketplace and NFT integration add layers of engagement and economic activity.

In addition to play-to-earn mechanics, Nakamoto Games has expanded its ecosystem with products like the NAKA Marketplace, Nakaverse, Arcade Emporium, and the NAKA Punk NFT collection, offering multiple ways for users to participate and earn rewards.

Token Utility

The NAKA token serves as the central currency for the Nakamoto Games ecosystem, facilitating transactions, rewards, and in-game purchases. Players earn NAKA through gameplay, which can be staked, spent on in-game assets, or used to participate in tournaments. Developers use NAKA for deploying games and monetizing player interactions. The token benefits from Polygon’s low transaction fees, allowing for cost-effective interactions within the ecosystem. Additionally, NAKA tokens power the platform's growing NFT marketplace and other services like the Nakaverse and Arcade Emporium, further integrating it into the gaming ecosystem.

About the Founders

Nakamoto Games was founded by Chawalit Rugsasri and is backed by NAKA Ventures, a tech company based in Bangkok, Thailand, specializing in gaming and software development. With over 150 professionals and more than a decade of expertise, NAKA Ventures has been instrumental in shaping the Nakamoto Games platform. Their holistic approach, including development, strategic investment, and partnerships, aims to position Nakamoto Games as a key player in the play-to-earn and GameFi sectors. NAKA Ventures has an extensive background in software development, and is currently valued at over $1 billion USD.

Products and Services

NAKA Marketplace

The NAKA Marketplace is a decentralized platform where users can trade NFTs using NAKA tokens as the medium of exchange. The marketplace supports a variety of assets, including:

  • In-game assets: Used to enhance gameplay on Nakamoto Games' portal.
  • Nakaverse Land NFTs: Virtual real estate within the Nakaverse, part of the platform’s metaverse offering.
  • Outlanders NFTs: A future development that will integrate into the ecosystem.

The NAKA Marketplace contributes to the creation of a self-sustaining economy within the Nakaverse.

Nakaverse

The Nakaverse is Nakamoto Games’ metaverse, designed to immerse players in a vibrant, self-sustaining digital world that mirrors real-world economic structures. Unlike traditional NFT-based metaverses where land value is primarily driven by scarcity, land in Nakaverse gains value through development and participation in the economy. Players can build and compete for resources, creating jobs, organizations, housing, and more.

Arcade Emporium

Arcade Emporium is a service that allows users to own shared virtual spaces, or arcades, where they can host play-to-earn games for Nakamoto Games’ 400,000-strong user base. Arcade owners receive commissions for each game played within their arcade, creating an opportunity for substantial passive income. Arcades come in two forms:

  • Ready-to-use arcades: Pre-built spaces featuring a range of casual and competitive games.
  • Custom-made arcades: Users design their own arcades by purchasing individual games as NFTs from the marketplace. Nakamoto Games will develop custom games for users based on their preferences, further enhancing the ownership experience.

This service offers a way for users to engage with the platform and earn revenue through personalized gaming spaces.

NAKA Punk NFTs

The NAKA Punk NFT collection is made up of 10,000 Punks, minted at $200 each. These NFTs offer unique characteristics and rarity levels, with perks including:

  • A $500 Nakaverse asset airdrop.
  • Access to the Satoshi Gaming Club.
  • Profit-sharing from Nakamoto Games once the platform becomes profitable.
  • A guaranteed buyback program allowing holders to sell their NAKA Punk NFT back for $200 after one year, provided no airdrop or asset has been redeemed.
